Their application is very easy to use and has great organization and makes it easy for a new investor to select and buy stocks and equities they are looking for. pro here is simplicity for sure! Wealthsimple trade is also CIPF certified that protects your money as an investor. This is another benefit that i call out. Benefit to using is knowing your money has insurance! There are frustrations and cons starting with the fact it is 15 minutes behind the market. So it can have an impact on experience. Occasionally can be frustrating to use. There is no margin or options trading, as the name suggests wealthsimple trade is "Simple"! The way wealthsimple makes their money is that there is a conversion fee from converting your canadian dollars into USD. There is a 1.5% fee applied. You might also run into some situations where not all stocks you search are there. You will find the NASDAQ, NYSE, TSX, TSX-V, NEO but others are not included. Overall i enjoy using wealthsimple trade and it depends on investor needs, but for me i recommend if you add income weekly and buy equities. Overtime this will save allot of money!!
