Hello Everyone Welcome to Another Travel episode. Today I am showing the glimpse of the India's Iconic Wonder Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous landmarks in the world, located in Agra, India. Built in the 17th century, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The monument is an architectural masterpiece and a symbol of eternal love. Commissioned by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1632 as a mausoleum for his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth. It took over 22 years to complete, with more than 22,000 artisans and craftsmen working under the guidance of chief architect Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. The Taj Mahal also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself, who was later buried next to Mumtaz Mahal. Built using white marble from Makrana, Rajasthan, known for its ability to change color based on light conditions.The structure follows Mughal, Persian, and Islamic architectural styles, featuring intricate carvings, floral designs, and calligraphy. The main dome stands at 73 meters (240 feet) and is flanked by four minarets, slightly tilted outward to prevent collapse on the main tomb in case of an earthquake.The complex includes gardens (Charbagh), a reflecting pool, mosques, and a guesthouse.
