What is UX? User Experience Explained For Beginners

UX is the actual experience that a user has when interacting with a business and its products and/or services. User Experience involves the interaction and overall experience that a user has with a company's products/services from start to finish. Every aspect of interaction that a person has with a company, its technology, and its products/services encompasses UX. UX Design: When designers manage and improve every aspect of User Experience. UX Design focuses on creating a product that functions properly, is easy to learn, and is easy to use to avoid negative user experiences. Good UX Example #1: I'm shopping online for a new grill. I go to Homedepot.com and they show me the grills in stock at my local store along with what aisle I can find them in. I can also choose to get Curbside pick-up or I can get delivery with set-up. I decide to do Curbside pick-up so I can get my grill today without having to even enter the store. Good UX Example #2: I need a custom cake and I need groceries. So, I download the Publix app (my local grocery store) and I can place the cake order directly from the app. Plus, I can build my shopping list using their app and they will tell me what aisle every product is in. If I see a product in-store with a digital coupon, I can add the coupon to my account directly from the app. Bad UX Example: I'm watching a live sporting event using one of the major live TV app providers. All of a sudden, the app freezes and closes. I have to turn off my TV to reset the app and relaunch it. I put the sporting event back on and it crashes again 15 minutes later.
