Dynamax Suicune has made its debut in Max Battle Weekend in May of Season: Might and Mastery. Dynamax Suicune is a Water-type Pokemon, which is weak against Grass/Electric type moves. After some testing, we have been able to tell Dynamax Suicune stats as a Dynamax Legendary Battle Boss. It has 22000 HP and 0.9 CPM, which makes it having slight higher attack multiplier than Dynamax Entei while maintaining similar defensive multipliers. Suicune learns Water Pulse/Scald/Hydro Pump/Bubble Beam/Ice Beam as charged move. Such that it will use one of them as LARGE ATTACK and other one as single target move. Overall, stat wise, Dynamax Suicune has less attack stat which allows you to fight longer, yes. However, its high defense also means you have to take that much longer to deal same damage as you did to Dynamax Entei. That doesn't means Dynamax Suicune is stronger than Dynamax Entei, though. Back in Dynamax Entei, we have reset for Flame Charge/Flamethrower moveset, where we used Blissey to tank the moves for Kingler to attack. For Dynamax Suicune, it learns Ice Beam, which is its non-STAB move and double resisted by Gigantamax Lapras. With Lapras excellent defensive stats and double resisting Ice Beam, it tanks Dynamax Suicune moves better than Blissey on Dynamax Entei relatively. Most importantly, dodging is fixed. With dodging and 3 Lv3 Max Guard, Gigantamax Lapras can charge the Max Meter without losing HP until Dynamax Suicune get stronger. Of course, the downside is, we have barely enough DPS due to Dynamax Suicune higher defensive stats. While Gigantamax Lapras can stall with Max Guard, we would still focus on attacking before Dynamax Suicune wipe out our team in its second phase. While it is theoretically possible to defeat Dynamax Suicune as Solo Battle without weather boost, it is an extremely tight fight, such that we would defeat it with Rain weather this time. With Rain weather, we would like to use Gigantamax Toxtricity as main cannon with its weather boosted G-Max Stun Shock. In other weather, Gigantamax Venusaur would performs better. To minimize damage received, we have retry until Dynamax Suicune used Bubble Beam and Ice Beam, noted that those 2 moves can be in any order (target Bubble Beam or LARGE ATTACK Bubble Beam). As shown in execution, Gigantamax Toxtricity has Lv1 Max Guard. It is not a mistake. By using a Max Guard (regardless of its level), Gigantamax Toxtricity can tank 2 Bubble Beam, no matter if it is LARGE ATTACK or target move. In the other hand, it would always need to Gigantamax 5 times to beat Dynamax Suicune, where it doesn't need to use all 3 G-Max Stun Shock in last cycle. So, having a little shield on Gigantamax Toxtricity is slightly more optimal. Overall, it was similar to Dynamax Entei, but a little bit more forgiving on switching since Lv50 Gigantamax Toxtricity's Wild Charge barely reached 220 damage, which is 1% of Dynamax Suicune HP. At last, the team has defeated Dynamax Suicune with a little margin at the end. Team used: CP 2941 Gigantanax Toxtricity - Lv50 15/15/15 Spark/Lv1 Max Guard/Lv3 G-Max Stun Shock CP 2602 Gigantanax Lapras - Lv40 13/15/13 Water Gun CP 2636 Gigantanax Lapras - Lv40 15/15/14 Water Gun/Lv3 Max Guard
