It has been about 15 months since I uploaded a preview of this. Back then, half or so was still in layout form, but I found the finished parts to be very cool. Now, we have the (mostly) finished product, and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The quality speaks for itself when watching this I think; every single part looks incredibly polished, featuring great block designs, decorations, and backgrounds, with the chosen theme and colors in mind. I will say that I was expecting a bit more green in the latter half, but I think the transition into more orange and red suits the increasing intensity of the song. My favorite part of the level's visuals, though, has to be amazing use of movements and effects to make the level dynamic. There is never a static moment in the entire level, and that suits the song well. It's worth noting that this showcase uses the song without sound effects, but the upload in-game will have them. I saw that a lot of showcases (with sound effects) were uploaded yesterday, so I thought it'd be interesting to see it with a cleaner version of the song here. The sound effects definitely add a lot of immersion, but at times it felt a little bit much to me personally—so that you couldn't quite hear the song (which is a banger). I'm curious to see what you guys think in the comments. Nonetheless, adding sound effects to songs specifically for Geometry Dash levels is very cool, and I hope to see this more in the future. This hasn't been released yet, but gdsauzzeth says it will be around the difficulty of "Black Blizzard". I'm glad to hear that as it means it will be accessible to a lot of players difficulty-wise. A lot of the best megacollabs tend to aim quite a bit higher in terms of difficulty, so it's nice to see some easier ones for a change. My only concern would be the performance, but they're gonna be optimizing this more before release. If that doesn't lead to any particular problems, and the level has a decent LDM, this should get a well-deserved Epic Extreme Demon rating! I'm looking forward to seeing future works by all the creators involved in this; they did an amazing job.
