Steer clear of the 1998 Windows re-release (also included in the GoG purchase. It can be confusing.) 1998 gimped the music tech and broke the torpedos, modding is required to partially restore DOS version's quality. NOTE: This guide also includes some tips on upgrading the music quality, ctrl-F for "MT-32" if you want to try that. The game will only auto-config about three buttons on your joystick for you.
