An elderly widow was defrauded by a dance studio that used high-pressure sales tactics and made intentional misrepresentations. The plaintiff was overcharged for over 3000 hours of dancing instruction and quit with 1750 hours of unused time purchased. The defendants attempted to settle the case with a refund of payment, but the plaintiff alleged fraud and misrepresentation in obtaining the releases.
