It takes a ton of time and an enormous amount of hard work or 'hustle' as some people may call it, but it can be done. Last year alone, we went from 167,000 views in a month to over 700,000 views in a month. We also start a brand new automotive channel which went from 4,000 views in its first month ever to over 120,000 views in a month. So, how did we do this, and how can you do it too? Well, that is what I am going to be going over in this video. I'm going to talk about specific strategies and things that you can do to help grow your channel and set yourself apart from everyone else making videos on YouTube. First and foremost, you need to make sure that you have your kind of cohesive branding. Now, I'm not saying that every thumbnail has to be the same, but they do all need to have the same style. Everyone from Captain Sparklez to Phillip DeFranco to Mumbo Jumbo to even us here at the Breakdown. All of them have consistently styled thumbnails and great branding across their entire channel. By doing this, you will be able to make your channel recognizable to your community making the grow your subscriber base over time. Speaking of coming back over and over again, you need to make sure you are posting consistently. Now, you don't need to upload every day, but you need to post on a consistent schedule. I would recommend at least once a week, but if you can produce high-quality content daily, go for! The more you post, the more chances you have at hitting a home-run video. The key is to produce high-quality content regularly. From there, it's important that you actually create content that people will want to watch. This is actually really important. I see so many people start making videos with content that just doesn't have any sustenance. I'm not saying that you need drama to make a video good, but it needs to be on a topic people are interested in. This video, for example, doesn't have any drama, but a lot of people and interested in learning how to grow on YouTube. Another example is on our automotive channel, we do videos on ownership costs of luxury cars. This is something that people are interested in. Make sure that your content is actually something people want to see and know about. But, if people want to know about it and can't find it, none of this matter. So, how can you actually get people to your channel no matter the size? Well, that answer is very, very simple. You need to optimize it for search engines. This is how we have been able to grow our channels as quickly and speedily as we have. Now, I could make an entire video on this topic. Instead, however, I wrote an article on it which is linked in the description above. While SEO is the biggest way we've been able to grow on YouTube, another good way to grow is by collaborating with other YouTubers. This can really supercharge your growth if you work with a creator that is much larger than you. Now, I know finding people to make content with can be difficult, and that is why I would suggest interacting with other creators of your size on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube as this will allow you to become friends and eventually work together in order to grow together. Usually, this is how growth works on YouTube, you work with creators around the same size in order to level you both up. And with that, those are my tips on growing your YouTube channel in 2019.
