An Australian military lawyer leaked classified files to a journalist. The story that followed detailed allegations of Australians committing war crimes in Afghanistan. In this documentary, we go behind the scenes to determine David McBride’s original motivation to blow the whistle. Four Corners reporter Grace Tobin has spent months with McBride, through his public court battle to his private moments with his family, and now, as he waits to be sentenced.
