Song that I absolutely had to sync the video to: FORĚT DE VIN - Hold the Night (feat. Robert Beachgrove) STABLE Torque Driven Active Ragdoll Using Quaternion Based Physics Joint Calculation Godot Joints by default use Euler angles to define rotation but they introduce gimbal lock. Using Quaternions I can get around it. I had to write my own code tho for the joints to use Quaternions instead. I had a bit of trouble with keeping the spring physics calculations stable but I figured it out. With all of that Rudolfo can finally stand on his own, literally. At first I had to give him invisible feet just to keep him from falling over. Now, with the new joints he doesn’t need them anymore. He can also jump and even get back on his feet whenever he falls down… eventually that is. All in all I am satisfied with how it all turned out.
