ALBUM:    • The Caretaker - Everywhere At The End...   James Leyland Kirby's Everywhere at the End of Time is not an album. It is not even really music. It is a groundbreaking exercise in auditory art; a masterpiece; and a journey. The project is 6 and a half hours long, and is meant to be listened to all the way through in one sitting. Which I did. And it was entirely worth it. Thank you to everyone who suggested this album, and thank you to everyone who's watched this series up until this episode! TBMR will come back, and I will still upload Essex Files and other vids before it does as well. To the Tik Tok crowd: Yes, this album has parts that may seem scary/creepy, however the intention is not to "make you get haunted owwowoo" or "make you feel like you're dead!!! omg", it's to simulate the stages of dementia in a way that is inexplicable by words. While yes, it is natural to get creeped out, this album is a work of art, an experience that is meant to provide empathy towards those afflicted by the ailment. Keep an open mind, and don't expect to be haunted by a spooky ghost or forget who your family is. This album can indeed pose questions and thought you wouldn't have otherwise had, and can make you feel strange or disoriented. But if you think it's some kind of "try not to get spooked by haunted album!!!" challenge that only the edgiest teenagers can face, you're missing the point. That aside, I definitely feel that if you're still interested, you should set aside some time and listen all the way through. It's an experience like no other, and while it's not for everyone, I'd say for the majority of people it is a very emotional and moving experience. Enjoy the descent guys, and try not to get too caught up in superficial trends without looking into the background of things.
