I've been wanting to do a video on Keith Haring for a long time now, he's one of my absolute favourites and I love everything that he stood for. I'm sure most are familiar with his work, but I wanted to make a video that not only gives context to his political standings and his willingness to spread awareness of important topics, but just how companies have completely taken advantage of his name and work. (Disclaimer: this is by no means shaming people who have bought merch that has Haring's work on it, I myself have a shirt and pajamas of such). This is a 'call out' to already profiteering businesses who leach off Haring's work, whilst failing to mention all the issues he stood for (or, at least, on their product pages).
