Lian Li A3-mATX-WD | Blackout Micro ATX Gaming Build | NO RGB | AMD Ryzen 7 8700F & RTX 4060 OC

Let me introduce you to a stylish build without ARGB, housed in the Lian Li A3-mATX-WD case. For the past year or so, I had been considering the Fractal Design North Black case for my personal build, but the opportunity never quite presented itself. Moreover, it’s quite bulky, and I’m not a fan of the ATX motherboard form factor. That’s why I was pleasantly surprised when Lian Li released the Wood version of their A3-mATX case. This is the case I’ve chosen for my new RGB-free PC build. At the heart of the build is the AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor. It’s a rather controversial choice, but it features AI cores and is priced lower than the Ryzen 7 7700. While the 7700 has twice the L3 cache, benchmark results suggest that the performance difference isn’t that significant—especially considering that in Poland, the 8700F is about 50 euros cheaper. For the motherboard, I went with a budget-friendly Asrock B850, which comes with a heatsink and a 6-phase power design, sufficient for this CPU. As for memory, I installed two 32GB sticks from G.Skill running at 5600 MHz, bringing the total to 64GB. Storage is handled by a 2TB Kingston KC3000 SSD, providing ample space for modern games and large files. I also installed a Wi-Fi module and routed its antenna off-screen—you’ll be able to see that in another video. Powering the entire system is a reliable and high-quality 750W Seasonic Focus power supply, 80 Plus Gold certified. Finally, handling graphics is the Asus RTX 4060 OC EVO with 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. Since I’m not a hardcore gamer, this GPU is more than enough for my needs. This build is compact, affordable, and highly efficient for an exceptionally low cost. I tested its performance in benchmarks like OCCT and Superposition, as well as in several demanding games, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Starfield, The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077, and Baldur's Gate 3 in 1080p resolution.
