Oleo Cancun Playa All Inclusive Boutique Resort in Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico. How is it? It is a 4-star beachfront resort located on one of Mexico's top beaches. The resort is meant to provide an experience immersed in minimalist elegance, with all services within walking distance, making it ideal for those who enjoy compact resorts. The property is a little outdated, but it is clean and well-maintained, and the staff is always working hard to satisfy the customers. The check-in process went smoothly, although early check-in was not available, which is OK but would have been a bonus after a long flight, so plan to have your room ready by 3:00 PM if you come early. We liked the two restaurants and the ability to get there without reservations; the cuisine was also delicious. On the other hand, the buffet was small and had great food but was somewhat repetitive; adding more space to the buffet would be an excellent addition. The resort's crown jewel is, of course, the beach, as well as the proximity of the pools right above the beach, which provide a breathtaking view when you relax at the pool near the swim-up bar. The drinks were adequate, nothing remarkable, and comparable to those found at any four-star resort. We are early birds, and we had no trouble getting a beach chair on the beach, but after 9:00 AM everything was almost full. Those who enjoy walking on the beach can find a few kilometers of barrier-free beach to explore, and guess what? The resort also has its own coffee shop, where you can grab a good morning coffee before or during your walk. In conclusion, a fine 4-star resort that is compact and ideal for people who don't care about the variety of greenery and wildlife around them and instead want to enjoy the pools and the gorgeous beach. RESORT RATINGS: Value to Money - 5/5 Stars (The price meets the expectations.) Location - 5/5 Stars (Located on one of the most beautiful sections of the Cancun beach.) Beach 5/5 Stars (One of Mexico’s nicest beaches, with white sand and blue water.) Reception - 5/5 Stars (Kind and professional, friendly greeting.) Service – 4.5/5 Stars (Overall, nice service, except for a couple of people at the buffet who seemed to want to talk with each other rather than work, regardless of whether they were tipped.) Buffet – 4/5 Stars – (Small buffet with good food but repetitive.) Restaurants – 5/5 Stars (Nice Asian and Mediterranean restaurants with delicious food and excellent service. There is no requirement for a reservation, and sandals with classy shorts and shirts are accepted--excellent policy management.) Rooms – 4.5/5 Stars (Everything worked as it should, albeit being a little outdated. A nice television with a good channel selection and a fully functional air conditioner. Thank you to our maid, who did an excellent job cleaning and organizing our room every day.) Sleep Quality – 5/5 Stars (Perfect mattress for us.) Cleanliness – 5/5 Stars (Well-organized and clean, with every employee always contributing.) Internet- 5/5 Stars (Good speed with strong signal.)
