I have some thoughts about the MiG, it is aggressive and fun to fly but it lacks a lot of NATO technologies .. no Mach 1 bombs, no thermal for the TGP, and very limited FOV for the targeting pod, the thing that makes the pilot in extreme danger after dropping a laser guided bomb\missile because he can't turn and maintain the laser point in the same time unlike with Tornado, F-14B and Mirage, the MiG-27K pilot can only climb or dive after a drop if he wants to keep the laser ON .. I mean the TGP has good FOV but only in the vertical aspect, and the plane guided weapons payload is very limited as well, so it is not the best CAS jet for sure .. the most important factor that makes it effective is it is fighting with the Pantsir S1 side.
