This is our first time in Turkey, and these are our first impressions of Istanbul, a city we've always dreamed of visiting. In this vlog we explore all of Old Istanbul. We join a free walking tour and explore the Hagia Sofia, see the Blue Mosque, walk through the Hippodrome, through Gülhane Park, pass by Ottoman architecture, ancient ruins and free produce markets. After learning a ton, we walk along the tram streets and make it to the Grand Bazaar. Surrounded by Turkish delight, baklava, and the sounds of the daily prayers.
