Giving my book to beta readers is an extremely important part of my writing process, and a step I will not skip when writing a book. The feedback I get from beta readers informs my book more than anything else, and I HIGHLY recommend taking the time to find readers and going through this process. I write paranormal thrillers, so my experience marketing on social media will be very different from someone who writes in a different genre. My experience may not necessarily be yours, so I encourage you to try every avenue possible to get your book and writing out there and figure out what works best for you.
