VinFast launched VF 7, a domestically assembled C-sized high-clearance car model, sold in two versions: Base and Plus. This is the only pure electric car model in the segment and the fourth commercial product introduced by the Vietnamese company in 2023, after VF 5, VF 6 and VF 9. The design of VinFast VF 7 was made by Torino Design design studio (Italy). VinFast describes the design language on VF 7 an "asymmetric aerospace". VF 7 Plus produces 349 horsepower, making VF 7 the most powerful car in the segment. The battery that powers the electric motor on this version has a capacity of 75.3 kWh, giving a maximum range of about 431 km after per full charge (WLTP standard). The VF 7 Base version produces 174 horsepower. The battery pack comes with a capacity of 59.6 kWh, giving a maximum range of 375 km per full charge.
