This single barrel aging batch of Corazon Anejo was finished in a Blanton's Bourbon barrel. The marriage of tequila and bourbon has become extremely popular and has developed some very unique flavor profiles. This Corazon Anejo was extremely complex with notes of spices, oak, vanilla, herbs, and bright flashes of agave. The bourbonesque nuances that the Blanton's barrel added created a unique layer. The beauty of these collaborations is the opportunity that it provides to bridge the gaps between other demographics of drinkers. We are now opening up a world of tequila to our most die hard bourbon fans.
