The outer shell is constructed from a high-tenacity polyamide fabric for superior abrasion resistance while the CE rated shoulder and elbow armor protects from impacts. The back of the jacket features a pocket for an Air Shield back protector while the front has pockets for Thorax chest protection. For temperature versatility, there is a removable full sleeved thermal liner in addition to intake vents on the chest and a large exhaust vent on the back. Since the Xantum utilizes a floating waterproof membrane, there is a water outflow system at the bottom to maintain the waterproofing. Elasticated stretch paneling for comfort/flexibility and reflective paneling for visibility round out the feature set for this excellent all-weather jacket at a reasonable price point.
