The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.20! This tutorial will show you how to raid an Ocean Monument. I approach our first Ocean Monument in the safest way possible - effective armour, water breathing & night vision potions, and a bucket of milk to dispel Mining Fatigue if necessary. We explore the maze-like structure of the monument to find the three Elder Guardians who must be defeated to prevent Mining Fatigue from renewing. These also drop Sponges and have a chance to drop the Tide Armor trim! Once we've done that, we take a look at how to defend yourself against Guardians, where to find the gold blocks hidden in the monument, which blocks to focus on when breaking down the structure, and how to find Sponge rooms! Returning from the monument, we add the Prismarine blocks to our growing automatic storage system, explore how to dry Sponges and how to use them to clear large areas of water. We even take a look at how villagers can help you find an Ocean Monument if you haven't spotted one in your world already!
