My listening friend, wherever you are, I hope that you and your family are very well by the grace of God. Bible tells us In Colossians chapter 1 reading verse 16, and 17 “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him: and He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.” In John chapter 1 reading from verse 1, the Bible tells us, “In the beginning was Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him. And without Him was not anything made, that was made. I want you to focus on ‘all things’, In Colossians 1: 16-17 and in John 1:3. All things were made or created by Him. And without Him was not anything made, that was made. We combine those two passages, and what we discover is that everything that exists, minus sin of course, was created by the creator Jesus Christ. Listen to Colossians 1:17, “And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.” Listen now to John 1:3, “All things were made by Him: and without Him was not anything made that was made.” Meaning anything created required the involvement of Jesus Christ. If this is the case, and the Bible tells us it is, because the one referred to in John 1:3, is the one of whom it is said in verse 14, “And the word was made flesh.” That’s Jesus Christ. The one referred to in Colossians 1:16-17 is the one of whom we read and in whom we have redemption through His blood, in verse 14. Christ is the creator. The verses we read are telling us very clearly, that Christ could not have been a created being, because everything created required the involvement of Christ. Jesus Christ, contrary to what some people preach, and believe, was not a created being. All creation is the result of His work. Listen again to John 1:3, “All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” Jesus Christ is not a created being. Because all of creation, according to the Bible, required the involvement of Christ. And Christ surely could not have made himself. My listening friend, I want you to place your confidence in “Thus saith the Lord.” And the Bible tells us, all of creation was done by the creator, who in Jesus Christ. He is not a created being; He is the source of all creation. If you believe that Jesus Christ is a created being, and you worship Him, here is the problem that you’re facing, and it is a very very serious problem indeed. The apostle Paul talks about those who serve the creature more than the creator, and this is a very very serious crime. It is found in Romans 1:25. “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the creator.” This is condemned in the Bible. So those who say Christ is a created being, they are literally calling Him a creature, and for those who worship Christ believing He is a created being are violating a very very serious principle of Scripture. The created thing is not to be worshiped. Jesus Christ was not created. He is the creator. As you keep the Sabbath holy remember, you are worshiping the creator of heaven and earth, Jesus Christ.
