Introducing the new in-line UVgel Wallpaper Factory from Canon Solutions America. This video will show you the operation of this modular production solution. Load the roll of wallpaper onto the jumbo roll loader. Then load the wallpaper into the Colorado printer. The jumbo roll loader is now setting the appropriate amount of tension on the media to run through the printer. Once the media is loaded into the system, the operator uses the control panel to activate the printing process. Then you’ll see how the feed side of the system looks once the media is completely loaded. The jumbo roll loader is on tracks to keep perfect alignment with the printer. Start the printing process, and the system runs automatically. The Colorado printer utilizes UVgel ink technology with minimal heat for dimension stability of the wallpaper. Printing wallpaper on the Colorado is the perfect combination with the end result of excellent ink durability and dimensional media stability. Once the media is printed and exits the printer, it goes into the XLD-170WP cutter. The X/Y cutter then sheets the roll media into the desired panel width and length. After the cutting is complete, the panels are then transported into the multi-page rewinder. Each panel is rewound, then transported to the labeler which tapes each finished roll.
