INDIAN AIR FORCE STATIC DISPLAY AT AIR FORCE STATION LEH To commemorate the 91st anniversary of lndian Air Force, Air Force Station Leh organized a static display at Air Force Station Leh on 08 October 2023. The show included static display of Rafale aircraft, Cheetal helicopters, indigenous Akash Missile System and Medium Range Surface to Air Missile. Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor of UT of Ladakh, Brig Dr.BD Mishra (Retd ) was the Chief Guest. Corps Commander of 14 Corps, officers of sister services and civil dignitaries graced the event hosted by Air Commodore DS Handa, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Leh. The marquee event started with students and general public witnessing the displayed aircraft and missile systems. They were also briefed about the strengths and capabilities of each system. Attractive aircraft posters, stickers and other publicity materials were distributed amongst the students witnessing the event. It invoked inquisitiveness, particularly among the younger generation. Successful conduct of the event was a testimony to the cooperation and coordination between the functionaries of Air Force Station and Civil Administration.
