It takes about 6 hours to go. You can rent a motorcycle to go to Niladri from the top of Surma Bridge after going down to Sunamganj. Two people can sit on one motorcycle. If you visit Niladri Lake during the rainy season, you can go from Sunamganj to Tahirpur. Then take a boat from Tahirpur and go over Tanguar Haor to Tekerghat. From there you can reach Niladri Lake in 3/4 minutes on foot. From Mohanganj to Niladri Lake: If you want, you can also go to Niladri Lake through Mohanganj in Netrokona. Mohanganj first on the Haor Express train from Dhaka at 11 pm. Get off at Mohanganj and go to Madhyanagar by autorickshaw. It will take 1 hour. You will get boats, trawlers and speedboats from Madhyanagar to Tekerghat. In the dry season, you can go to Niladri with a bike reserve from Madhyanagar. However the time and cost on this route will be a bit more. So it is better to plan to go to Niladri via Sunamganj.
