Apex Legends Update + How The Crafting System Works

Explanation on how the crafting system works! Season 6 of apex legends has brought many changes to both the meta game and the map of worlds edge. The changes don't end there though as this season introduces a new gameplay concept via the crafting system. This allows players to collect crafting metals as they play during the match so that they can then use at the new device named the replicator. There are many ways to obtain these crafting metals, for instance when you drop into the map you'll notice that some areas will have machines that you can interact with, these areas will have a blue sort of hue around them to signify where they're at or you can press down on the Dpad to have a more clear marking of their locations. Using these devices will allow you extract crafting materials from it. The amount you get is also recieved by your team and vice versa when using the extraction device typically they will give you 25 metals. Another way to obtain these metals is by simply opening lootbins which will reward only you with 5 metals.You guys won't worry about losing your hard earned metals if by chance you die as you will keep all of your metals once you respawn back in. This also means that you can't loot another players crafting metals from their lootboxes as they will have kept them. There are plenty of opportunities to gain these credits to use at the replicators, However be warned that the crafting materials that you obtain during the match will reset to zero after the game is over, so there's no need to save them up for your next game. Now to use these crafting metals you'll have to find a replicator that spawns near the areas that have extraction devices, once again these areas will be marked on your map via a blue hue. Replicators will also fly down onto the map starting from the second circle, you can differentiate the replicator from the care packing by looking at the shape of the landing spot ping. The care package will have a circular ping on the map while an incoming replicator will be more of a hexagon. These replicators will always have ammo, and medical supplies however weapons and attatchments will be on a rotation. Some will be on a daily basis and other on a weekly. You'll be able to see the available items in the replicators when you are chosing what game mode you want to play or on the start up menu of the match and also when you pull up your map during mid game. Keep in mind that if you see a weapon in the replicator then you won't be able to find it as ground or bin loot. An example of this would be seeing a devotion in the replicator so you wouldn't find it on the ground or in a bin as you'd have to craft it from the replicator. Armor itself won't be available in the replicator as you will instead have the option to use credits to reduce the amount of damage needed to level up your evo armor. If you have enough then you can upgrade it entirely and if upgraded this way then your evo armor will have 100 percent of its health even if it was missing some before hand. Becareful when doing this as it can be a somewhat slow proccess as you will have to feed your armor into it. This wait time goes for any other item that you are crafting as well regardless if it's a weapon or just ammo. Be even more careful if you have an obnoxious teammate who might loot goblin your newly upgraded shield or other crafted item. Now although you and your team will be obtaining these crafting metals together when using the extraction devvice, the amount you have will all be seperate so that isn't going to be shared and is only for yourself. Thats essentially how the new crafting system works though guys, i really like this as it will make the game alot less Rng heavy.
