Sanandaj is the center of Kurdistan province and the 20th largest city in Iran.  This city is located in the west of Iran.  Sanandaj is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level and in the mountainous region of Zagros and has a mild and mountainous climate. Sanandaj has been introduced as one of the music capitals of the world, the Nowruz capital of the world, the creative city of music, the city of mosques, the city of Hazar Tepe, and the book capital of Iran.  In this city, the Kurdish language of Ardalani is used as a spoken. Asif's House in Sanandaj is one of the city's important historical buildings, also known as the House of Kurd. This house belonged to Asif Azam (Mirza Ali Naqi Khan Lashkar-Nevis), a prominent figure during the Safavid and Qajar eras. He was one of the noblemen and government officials of Kurdistan at that time, and this house is recognized as a symbol of traditional Kurdish architecture.
