The film, starring Gina Rodriguez, Brittany Snow and DeWanda Wise, received excellent praise by critics and audiences alike, and instantly became a timeless anthem of female friendship among the pantheon of romantic comedies. Together with Oscar-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi, Robinson is co-writing the screenplay for Marvel’s highly anticipated feature "Thor: Love and Thunder" with Chris Hemsworth returning as the title role, and also starring Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson and Christian Bale. Upcoming, The CW has put into development the dark comedy series "Obsessed," a one-hour dark comedy which Robinson will executive produce alongside Jessica Amento, Jennie Snyder Urman and Sutton Street Productions. Robinson is the creator and executive producer of MTV’s critically acclaimed series, "Sweet/Vicious." The show made a remarkable impact with viewers for its examination of sexual assault crimes on college campuses, becoming a cornerstone for survivors’ portrayal on television.  In 2016, Robinson was named one of Variety's 10 TV Writers to Watch. The following year, she was invited to the White House under the Obama administration to speak at Vice President Biden's final It's On Us Summit about her work and her advocacy for sexual assault survivors.  Robinson continues to create a celebrated body of work across film and television that speaks to generations of audiences. She currently resides in Los Angeles.  ABOUT WOMEN'S WEEKEND FILM CHALLENGE Women's Weekend Film Challenge (WWFC) works for gender equity by creating opportunities for women to bring their leadership, talents, and stories to the forefront of the film industry. WWFC places professional filmmakers on crews to write, shoot and edit a short film in one weekend and provides top-of-the-line equipment, insurance and workshops. This career-building opportunity is free for participants. Since its first challenge in January 2018, WWFC has worked with over 700 women to produce 30 short films, which have been accepted to more than 60 festivals. This grassroots, bi-coastal movement combats the gender imbalance of the film industry by providing an intensive networking experience and telling women's stories on screen.
