2022 UPDATE: The download for both programs has moved to a different site, so the links I previously had here are outdated. The new download links are below: KotonoSync - https://suzumof.com/data/software/syn... KotonoTone - https://suzumof.com/data/software/ton... The new site means that the beginning of the video going over how to download them is no longer applicable (password no longer seems to be required). Please skip to 01:46 for the beginning of the explanation of the program itself (assuming no major changes; I haven't used either program in quite a while myself but it should still be applicable for older versions). Thank you! Old description: Happy New Year! Here's a tutorial I meant to do years ago and didn't finish until now. Whoops. As you can see in the video, there are a ton of settings you can change in Kotonosync -- I only went through the very basics, but definitely feel free to mess around with them if you'd like. (I forgot to mention it in the video, but VOICEROID is primarily Windows-based, and as such so is KotonoSync. I don't know if either program will run on any other OS and I can't help with that, I'm sorry. It's also worth noting that most of the setup involved in registering a Voiceroid only applies to V2s. If you're registering a V1 that hasn't been imported into V2, you can skip all the setting changes and just immediately hit next.) I'm sorry for the odd timing of the text; originally I had recorded myself talking through this guide, but I... very much didn't like how I did it (I had even re-recorded the entire tutorial three times in one morning orz), so I decided it'd be easier to just have it be a text-only one. I'm sorry if this is inconvenient to anyone. The text started off as a transcription of what I was saying, but eventually I decided to make it the actual guiding part. If anything in the video was confusing or if you run into any issues, feel free to ask! I'll do my best to help out. This is not a "how to set up VOICEROID on a non-Japanese computer" tutorial, but feel free to ask about that as well. Usually the issue is a missed setting change somewhere, though I have seen errors from others that I have no idea how to fix. Regardless, I'll do my best...! (Unrelated, but the thumbnail for this video is technically a collage of old standing pictures I drew for every Voiceroid I owned at the time since a long while ago I wanted to make regular talking videos... I still may do that sometime, but I definitely need to redraw all these standing pictures, aha.)
