Travel with your drone can be extremely awesome, but also quite scary as you probably don't know what you need to consider when bringing your drone in other countries. In this video I will tell you how to travel with your drone, based on experience from around 40 flights. The first thing you should do if you want to travel with your drone is to do a quick research on the internet. Just go to Google and type in: "country you travel to" drone regulations. That should give you a lot of results. But look for the date of the articles, because if the information is too old, it's very likely that it has already changed. So what's if drone flying is to restricted in the country you want to travel to. It depends... if you want to go to another country after the restrictive one or you want to fly your drone anyway (what I don't recommend), then you should look in forums and facebook groups if they take the drone at the airport and if the drone laws are actually enforced. In Thailand for example, you have to register your drone but even if you don't do that, they won't take your drone at the airport. So if you want to travel to another country like Malaysia (which is less restrictive) after Thailand, you mustn't worry about your drone gets taken away. So you can at least fly there. Disclaimer: I really don't want to encourage you to break the law when flying your drone. But if you do so, at least stick to common safety standards. Stay away from airports, respect the privacy of other, don't fly in cities or only if the drone stays very close to you etc. Then of course, you must know how to pack your drone and the batteries to fly with it. For the drone itself there are no regulations on how to pack it. But the batteries must be stored in the carry-on luggage because the batteries can start to burn. If that happens it's much easier to fight the fire when it's in your carry-on luggage as in your checke-in luggage. If you didn't buy your drone yet, also consider the size of it. I don't really like to transport a big bag with me all the time. That's why I sold my DJI Phantom 4 Pro and bought the Mavic Air instead. So I can travel with carry-on luggage only, what saves me a lot of money when I travel with my drone. #drones #travel #traveldrone 📲 Let’s connect: Facebook: www.facebook.com/pbaselvideo Instagram: www.instagram.com/pbaselvideo YT Subscribe: https://bit.ly/2XCCMD6 🎥 My Equipment: https://www.amazon.com/shop/pascalbasel * GoPro Hero7: https://bit.ly/2EBUlKN * Editing Software & Machine: MacBook Pro 2018 13inch TB 16GB 1TB Final Cut Pro X LumaFusion 🎶 Where I get my music from: Artlist.io: https://bit.ly/2GMU7ot * Soundstripe: https://app.soundstripe.com/referrals... * Envato Elements - Must have for every freelancer: https://bit.ly/2CuGPYf * Affiliate Link (If you buy through this link, I get a small commission.
