We hand fished our giant river prawns ready to go on the grill fresh! The people here were so friendly they really looked after us! The grandad gave us chairs and free water which was so kind. They showed me round the garden and I looked at the roosters they had aswell as the super cute rabbits and little doggo jackpot. She grilled our giant mekong River prawns on the BBQ right in front of us and she knew exactly what she was doing! All in all we got 9 prawns for 350 THB which is such an amazing price. I seriously recommend everyone to visit here it was such a fun experience and they are just the nicest people who run the place. We took our river prawns to the Mekong riverfront and found a restaurant with a view that let us eat on there property! We bought a ice cold Leo beer to go with the river prawns and got ready to tuck in - they even gave us plates and dipping sauce bowls. Now at just over $1 each river prawn these were ridiculously good, she had grilled them to absolute perfection, the meat inside was so soft and the dipping sauce went so well together with it. They may have just been the best prawns I have ever eaten! Right here in Nakhon Phanom Thailand. We demolished all the prawns before soaking in the Mekong River views over laos for a little while.
