Today on International Women's Day I would like to share a very precious interview with everyone. 34 Years ago, in the first week of March 1984, I was in India to Interview the Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi, I had my program's Producer and Cameraperson with me from Canada. We had exactly 30 minutes with her and my interview with her was only 15 minutes long. I was quite nervous Interviewing such a powerful person, but she made it very easy for me, she answered all my questions, no matter how silly they were. 1984 was not a very good year for many people. What happened in Punjab and in the whole of India that year is not only shameful but very disturbing. My interview with one of India's most powerful woman very clearly demonstrates her desire to see the country not be divided as was and is wished by some interested parties.
