Peter Joseph von Lindpaintner – Die Glocke, Op. 80: Introduzione
Recreation of composer's manuscript score in Dorico notation software, with playback by Noteperformer instruments. Peter Joseph von Lindpaintner (1791–1856) was a German composer and conductor. He studied with Peter von Winter and Joseph Graetz and from 1819 onwards was based in Stuttgart. Today Lindpaintner's music is seldomly performed or recorded, but he was a renowned and respected figure in his time. The orchestral melodrama "Die Glocke", op. 80, is based on the famous poem by Schiller. The work is scored for a narrator and orchestra.The Danish wikipedia also has mention of a piano 4-hands version of this work.
