This was my first attempt at making a vlog. It is not perfect by any means. I tried to film a day in a life, but I decided to show you multiple clips about what happens to me over the course of several days. This is a tough job. With the temperatures rising, I have to deal with discomfort for hours while I unload these hazardous chemicals. Last week was my worse week on this dedicated account. I only drove 700 miles. Freight has been up and down. 6 drivers have resigned over the last 2 months due to the constant changes in pay and inconsistency in freight. Also, I was mistaken. After looking at my pay stubs, I was actually paid $350 dollars for 700 miles. My pay is supposedly 52 CPM, but I am only paid 50 CPM for anything under 1000 miles, after observing my other paychecks. Obviously the pay is not on par. However, I HAVE to constantly remind myself of this: Everything in life is temporary. Everyone has the power to change their circumstances.
