Since the nerf to Gelipnir in 2024, Bloodseeker, as a Pos 1 carry, was not all that appealing especially in view of what was popular: highly-mobile mid-game ganking heroes like Puck, Storm Spirit and Ember Spirit. These sorts of heroes shut down Bloodseeker because they’re able to continue moving without being damaged by Rupture and they dealt magic nuke damage to Bloodseeker who had very little survivability and took a lot of risk being in the middle of a fight. So while today’s meta heroes still do well against Bloodseeker, like Puck, Monkey King and even Morphling, Bloodseeker’s new Blood Mist, Radiance build helps overcome his weaknesses. What’s more is that this new Radiance build also doubles-down on what makes Bloodseeker so strong: snowballing in damage and punishing misplays. The moment the enemy is out of position or survives from a bad fight, his Thirst movement speed or Rupture disable from Rupture guarantees that Bloodseeker will finish the job In many ways, the Bloodseeker Radiance Aghs Scepter build works similar to a lot of other Radiance heroes like Lifestealer, Wraith King and the popular meta carry: Alchemist. These are heroes who deal a lot of damage just by being in fights but also have incredible ways to sustain their health so it conflicts enemy teams with two choices: either focus Bloodseeker down, knowing he’ll last a long time, causing the enemy team to take massive damages or the enemy can try to fight around Bloodseeker, giving him free reign to deal as much damage as he can. How the Bloodseeker Magic build works is simple: through Radiance and Bloodseeker’s Aghs Scepter ability, Blood Mist, Bloodseeker deals huge magic damage in an AoE that also converts any kills into big heals and even a universal damage barrier that protects Bloodseeker. On top of his spell and attack amplification he gets from Bloodrage and the low cooldown AoE silence debuff through Blood Rite, Bloodseeker deals unavoidable massive damage that whittles down both high health and even fragile heroes while consistently keeping his health full. So with Radiance and Blood Mist, not only are you doing static magic Burn damage from the Radiance, that provides evasion and causes miss chance from incoming physical attacks, but Bloodseeker ALSO has a slowing percentage-based magic damage ability that increases Bloodseeker’s healing and can provide additional effective HP through a universal damage barrier. All the while the hero can silence an entire team with his Blood Rite AoE ability and can cast Bloodrage with no mana to amplify all this magic damage as well as his attack speed continuously. Of course, he can easily chase anyone trying to flee with his Thirst passive ability. Now, throw in a Black King Bar, and Bloodseeker is now debuff immune with 50% magic damage resistant, so he takes less self-damage from the Blood Mist and can go ham with natural good damage.
