Bryce Canyon National Park Hiking Navajo Loop Trail, Biking & Swimming

Bryce Canyon City, Utah - Bryce Canyon National Park with Kids! Chapters to each section are at the bottom of the description. Join us as we continue to Ditch Default by full-time RVing across the US. In this episode we visit our favorite National Park to date, Bryce Canyon! Join us as we explore the park in the shoulder season (April) via hiking and biking trails along with enjoying our downtime at Ruby's Inn and Campground. We hiked the the Navajo Loop via Wall Street and continuing onto Queens Garden trail. We started the hike at Sunset Point and decided we would hike counter clockwise down Wall Street, through the slot canyon at the bottom and connecting to Queens Garden trail finishing at Sunrise Point. We felt that with our kids we did not want to end our hike going up the steep switchbacks of Wall Street. Our next adventure was a short hike to Mossy Cave on the North side of the Park. It was quite a windy day to hike as a weather pattern was coming in the next day, but since it was a short hike we went for it since we did not want to miss out on this opportunity due to rain in the forecast the next day. On this hike we play in the water, walk along the Tropic ditch and hang out by a waterfall on a hike that is doable for all ages. One of the best ways to see the park is via their amazing 10 mile multi-use path that starts in Bryce Canyon City and goes through most of the National Park ending at Middle Inspiration Point. We rode our bikes to Bryce Canyon Lodge where we walked around and did some pre Mothers Day shopping at the gift store. Ending each day, we took full advantage of Ruby's Inn indoor pool and spa which we had full privileges to use in the off season since the campgrounds pool was closed for the winter season still. It was great to relax in the spa each night after our adventures. We meet so many different people from all around the wold soaking in the spa after their own adventures! Thank you for watching! We’ll catch up with you next time as we continue our adventures in Bryce Canyon National Park! 00:00 Introduction 01:03 Leaving Capitol Reef 01:34 Arriving at Ruby's Inn Bryce Canyon National Park 02:09 Riding the Shuttle into Bryce Canyon National Park 02:47 Hiking Navajo Loop & Queen's Garden Trail in Bryce Canyon National Park 07:42 Mossy Cave Hike in Bryce Canyon National Park 09:34 Eat Dinner and Grocery Shopping in Tropic, Utah 10:02 Swimming at Ruby's Inn 11:16 Biking in Bryce Canyon National Park 14:11 Bryce Canyon Lodge 15:05 Junior Ranger at Bryce Canyon National Park 16:21 Kyle Petty Charity Ride
