Our Morning Coffee Series proposes to take just ten minutes of your time, once a week to meet pioneers and leaders both familiar, sage, and longstanding, as well as new and innovative. Speakers will explore issues and topics crucial to the conversations we should be having. This week's speaker: TREVOR CORKUM Trevor works as a writer, educator, and consultant. As an international educator, he has over 20 years’ experience in the sector with a focus on student recruitment, communications, research and strategy, and partnership development. A recipient of grants from the Canada Council, Banff Centre, Ontario Arts Council, and Toronto Arts Council, his fiction, essays, and journalism have been widely published nationally and internationally, appearing in Walrus, Toronto Star, The Globe & Mail and elsewhere and garnering nominations for the Journey Prize, National and Western Magazine Awards, and CBC Prizes for Fiction and Nonfiction. Trevor consults for clients in the education, non-government and arts sectors through his company One World Consulting and leads national and international writing retreats and workshops through One Life Writing.
