As a matter of fact it does not matter which version of Microsoft Project you are using as the approach to using the software has not changed Now let me show you the very little difference between 2010 and 2013. In Microsoft Project 2010 the menu functions on the top are the same as a Microsoft Project 2013 menu functions below There's an extra Reports tab which we will see later in this module where some of the functions under the Project tab have been moved into a separate Reports tab Let's compare the Task ribbons If you look over the top ribbon you'll see there's no difference between the Task tab and the ribbons on the top compared to the task tab and the ribbon on the bottom The two versions of the same We'll often use the link icon and the scroll to task icon - even their location is the same Under the Resource tab you'll see the resource ribbon where we level our resources.
