The fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and Teófimo López took place on October 17, 2020, at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Paradise, Nevada. In a highly controversial fight López defeated Lomachenko via unanimous decision (UD) with the judges' scorecards reading 119–109, 117–111, and 116–112. CompuBox stats showed López was the busier of the two, landing 183 of 659 thrown (28%), while Lomachenko was more accurate landing 141 of 321 thrown (44%). The whole point of this video is to show that neither was true. The scorecards shouldn't be as wide and CompuBox's stats were way off (a pattern that I've noticed in Lomachenko's fights, e.g. Loma - Linares, Loma - Ortiz). I have shown every single clash between the two except for the ones where it's obvious that nothing landed. My personal opinion is that the fight is at least a draw as it could have gone either way, depending on how you chose tho view the fight, but regardless of what I think it's a fact that the fight was way closer than what it was shown to be.
