The ultimate realism in RoN is achieved by a mod combo. #Installation Guide: Astral's file: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/... Get any AI file. My tests were performed on the "Judge Must Die" version, so I recommend you get it too. Don't worry, difficulty will be handled by my files. Rename the file to "Pakchunck997...etc" Jug's files: https://www.nexusmods.com/readyornot/... Pay attention. If you're playing the updated version of the game, you'll need the files with "UE5" in the names. They're 2: 1. "AI module FOR DLC - UE5 _ slightly more suspects", and 2. "Armor Hotfix for Astral's AI mod - UE5-READY" Don't get any other file there, they are for the old version of the game, that some people (me incuded) still play. They won't work in an updated version. Rename the hotfix to "Pakchunck998...etc" and the AI mod to "Pakchunck999...etc". Get all three files into your game's PAKS folder: ..steamapps\common\Ready Or Not\ReadyOrNot\Content\Paks Done. notes: I don't suggest you use Astral's optional files, as they weren't tested, but most should work. I don't recommend you use Astral's ammo tweaks, damage is already balanced out by my mod. This mod bundle should work with 'Gunfighter' and any other weapon and equipment mods you want. The AI config itself has some problems, but, on the other hand, the mod adds some very interesting features! Astral rebalanced the behavior trees for the AI characters, he added armored enemies, more locations for the civvies to take cover away from the firefights, he changed their loadout, he added head traps on doors, execution to hostages and civilians... I later learned it was a hobby project for multiplayer that got released after having some good feedback and well: Lucky it did! So, my test plan for it was to use it as a base mod and apply the AI mod I've been polishing for more than two years on top of it. After some rounds, it was clear to me: This combination has become the ultimate AI-mod for Ready or Not. You will feel that the game has just opened up. You'll be able to play it ANY way you want. Wanna go full lethal stealth? You'll find enemies that respect realistic visual and audible limits, that have realistic reactions when surprised and when aware, that know how to flank, ambush, snipe and make defensive perimeters, that surrender when cornered... It's all covered. You wanna go loud and proud, banging and clearing, proper SWAT style? It's got you covered too! Enemies will fight back, they will hide and shoot from cover, they will start targeting civilians... The mess you want to see and to believe. Wanna go less than lethal? No problem, the reaction times are revamped into respecting human limits. Same with accuracy and speed. You'll be very hard pressed to find a better and more flexible human-like opposition in the market. It is a water and wine difference from the vanilla game.
