Would you like to create a Homegroup using Windows 10? A Homegroup can be created so you and others on the same network can share files like images and music as well as devices, such as printers. To create a Homegroup in Windows 10, in the Start Menu type Control Panel and select it. Look for NETWORK (and INTERNET) and click on it. You will see Homegroup and select it. In the next window, click on CREATE A HOMEGROUP and then in the introduction box, click NEXT. Here is where you can choose which files and devices you want to share by changing the Permissions from Shared to Not Shared. After making your selections, click on NEXT to configure. After configuration, you will receive a password which will be necessary to use each time you include a new machine within the Homegroup. Print it or make a note and then click FINISH. Going back into the Network and Sharing Center. Under Homegroup you should now see that the status has changed to ‘Joined’. Clicking on it reveals the details of your Homegroup settings and other actions and this is where you are able to make any changes including leaving the group.
