Video Description ~~~~~~ Since April 7th, Samsung has been pushing out the One UI 7 OTA update to the Galaxy S24 series, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 However, on Sunday it was rumored that the global rollout had been paused due to a serious bug that was discovered in South Korea. And while many people had suspected this pause was going to last much longer. . .it seems as if Samsung has been able to iron out the issue so they can resume the rollout soon. #android #oneui7 #oneui #samsunggalaxy Troubling One UI 7 Update Samsung hasn't had the best luck when it comes to its new Android update. An update that many people had assumed would have started back in the 4th quarter of last year. But the company continued to have setback after setback until they were finally able to release the scheduled update timeline. Then, after more than 4 months of delays, the South Korean tech conglomerate had finally started to send out the Android 15 update to people within its home country. Sadly, this didn't last long because just a few days ago it was confirmed that Samsung was halting the rollout of its One UI 7 firmware. Currently, it's reported that this was due to a critical bug that made it difficult to unlock Galaxy S24 series devices with the Exynos chipset. It's unclear if this issue was also present on its Snapdragon variants since the rollout for those were delayed as well. A moderator for one of Samsung's many community forums confirmed the rollout had been delayed, but they were unable to provide any additional details about the issue. Then, it was reported that photos and videos stored within your Samsung Secure Folder were being surfaced within the Samsung Gallery application. The app has a feature that will automatically generate "stories" for you based on the images and videos stored on your phone. But this was not supposed to allow images and videos saved within the Secure Folder to be seen. And sadly, this is not supposed to happen. So it seems as if there have been a plethora of bugs found within its One UI 7 update. And that Samsung has been dealing with these issues for the better part of a year. conclusion The good news is that the company has confirmed the rollout is finally ready to resume. With Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices within South Korea being the first to be updated. The bad news is that this delay is likely going to push back the other Android 15 rollouts that the company has been planning to release. But at least the delay shouldn't be more than a week or two.
