AMT 1925 Ford Model T Hot Rod - 1/25 scale Full Build

This is the 1/25 scale AMT 1925 Ford Model T street rod series kit from the 80's. I found it at a model vendor show and took to the the box art right away. I decided right then and there I was going to build it box stock cause I liked the cover so much. The only things I added was the big drag slicks and the Gopher Racing pinstripe decals, finishing off with the clear blue glass. I raised the rear of the body a little too. For paint I used Tamiya Silver Leaf for the base, then coated with Tamiya Clear Red. I wet sanded over the clear red then applied the decals, then sprayed it with Testors Extreme Clear lacquer. I drilled out the exhausts then sprayed the headers with Rust-oleum Bright Coat Chrome then airbrushed the exhaust stain with Tamiya's clear orange, clear red and clear blue. Most of the Chrome parts I shot with Testors Dullcote, then added some Tamiya black panel liner. The ignition wires, magneto and plugs were from the Pro-Tech pre-wired detail set. I added a photo-etch grille for the radiator housing and clear red lens for the headlights. The tail lights were omitted cause they didn't look right to me. Thanks for Watching!
