God bless! Banner Bearers is a ministry with a multifaceted mission. Our primary focus is to engage in spiritual warfare, particularly in the German-speaking countries of the DACH region. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Inspired by a vision of a solitary soldier on a mountain, raising high the banner of his king, our mission is to elevate a spiritual banner over the DACH region, exalting the name of Jesus and proclaiming His victory and lordship. In addition to this core mission, we aim to encourage and equip others to engage in spiritual warfare. This involves direct teaching within congregations and organising or supporting conferences which strengthen the body of Christ and advance the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Craig Masson is the founder of the Banner Bearers ministry. Born in the UK in 1980, Craig has been a follower of Christ since 2010. For many years, his Christian walk resembled that of many others — reading the Bible, praying, attending church, preaching, and serving in church leadership. However, in late 2023, the Holy Spirit began leading him on a transformative journey, calling him to live a life radically dedicated to God. This journey was sparked by a sermon that he gave, emphasising following the example of the Apostle Peter, who dedicated his entire life to God. Craig's commitment deepened when he joined a Nazarite course — a small study group focused on setting oneself apart for God. A major breakthrough came in March 2024 at the start of a conference, where Craig felt God revealing that He would work wonders through him if he approached with "a soft and empty heart". The journey culminated at the conference's conclusion, during a discussion on the region's spiritual darkness and occultism. In that moment, Craig felt the Spirit speak powerfully to his heart: "Raise a banner for The King. Storm the strongholds of the enemy and cast them down. Push back his forces, and bring God's kingdom." He envisioned a solitary soldier on a mountain, holding high the banner of his king. / @bannerbearers
