The album really portrayed mags’ undeniable talent as well as who she is, both as a songwriter, co-producer and singer. The album “mags” was praised by Danish music magazines such as Gaffa and Soundvenue. Gaffa described it as a “modern, capturing release”, while Soundvenue commented: “Mags’ debut delivers classic, capturing pop-stories with observant lyrics and a polished production”.
