Highlighting any visit to Sequoia is the Giant Forest to see the largest (by volume) tree in the world, General Sherman. The size of these trees is overwhelming and awe-inspiring. But even though the Park is about the trees (it is named after a tree, for goodness sake), a visit is more than just forests and wood. Don't forget about Moro Rock for wonderful views of the area, Crystal Cave (you do need reservations!) and the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states, Mt. Whitney.
