Bangkok-Singapore via KL: Train Trip Tips 2024

You see more by taking the train! And you get the chance to stop off on route. I took this massive journey in September 2024, and it was pretty easy with a bit of planning. You'll need to take at least 5 different trains to get all the way from Bangkok, Thailand to Singapore. I stopped off in Hat Yai (South Thailand) and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Here I show the whole journey; complete with the trains, the schedules, the prices and some tips to make the most of the trip. It's a lot longer than flying, but you can'y compare the experience. If you have time and a sense of adventure, train is the way to go!
