Good morning we're here uh performing a foundation repair on a stem wall I'm David Pounders with AZ Anchor Bolts LLC and we're going to talk about our new proprietary anchor which makes repairing wood frame construction anchors simple and easy as you'll notice we're replacing this corroded rebar with a fiberglass rebar replacement here we have what was once a number four rebar that's been corroded uh with with different chemicals and sulfates that are in the soil here made its way into the concrete so to perform this repair we've removed this rebar and are replacing with a glass fiberglass reinforcing bar in addition to that there are a few anchors that are in need of replacement typically these J bolts and other anchors are going to be need to going to need to be replaced when they have 20 or more corrosion this ain't specific anchor is being replaced because it's lost that GA term in order to replace that anchor we're replacing with our proprietary Anchor It features a 5 8 inch diameter rod with a turnstile blade that allows for easy insertion through the bottom plate from underneath the foundation this one we've already trimmed to size to fit within the cavity here and we'll be tying it to the rebar with a zipper the hole that we're utilizing is the previous hole from the anchor that was installed you can drill a new hole if that's more appropriate that the anchor has been seated and now we're going to tighten this nut to the bottom of the bottom plate. https://www.azanchorbolts.com/ concrete repair,anchor bolts,tension tie strap,tension tie strap repair,foundation repair phoenix,phoenix arizona,phoenix,Mesa,Tempe,Chandler,Gilbert,contractors
