This is the PERFECT REPRESENTATION of the Made-for-TV-Movies of the 1970s and 80s! This one stars Robert Stack and Vera Miles, as Michael and Christine Rhodes! These two actors were TV MOVIE FAVORITES! ~ Oh MAN this movie SCARED the HEBBENS outta me! The House that is the location for the Strange and Deadly Occurrence takes place, is a DEAD RINGER for my Godmother's place in Guerneville California and I HAPPENED TO BE STAYING WITH THEM when this movie came out!! There was a BUNCH of us watching it! OH MAN those were the GOOD OLD DAYS! I was almost 15!!! ~ Cast also included: Margaret Willock, LQ Jones, Hugh Edelman, James McCallion, Ted Gehring, and Dena Dietrich, who btw, was NOT related to Marlene! ~ BUT she was FAMOUS for her line IT'S NOT NICE TO FOOL MOTHER NATURE, a 70s era commercial for CHIFFON MARGARINE lol! How do I know all these bits of TRIVIA! Well, I HAVE studied film since I was about 8 years old, and I am now 63---but I must admit, I also stayed up late and watched Johnny Carson after the Local News at 11 pm--and this is how I saw so much and heard so much! ~ Directed by: John Llewellyn Moxey, who was a VERY prolific director of the times. He is an absolute favorite of Quentin Tarantino, who did a great podcast about how influential this Director was to him! ~ Cuz Mr. Moxey was GREAT at the Spooky Stuff! His credits include The Night Stalker (1972), Circle of Fear (1972) A Taste of Evil (1971) The House That Would Not Die (1970) Where Have All The People Gone (1974) AND even one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Made-for-TV-Movies! YES! He directed Home for the Holidays (1972), a SPOOKY thriller set on Christmas, with a GREAT CAST, including starring Sally Field, Julie Harris, Jessica Walter, Walter Brennan, Eleanor Parker, Jill Haworth, John Fink and Med Flory. a 6'5" tall drink of water that could do a mean HENRY FONDA impression lol!! (I will be uploading this movie soon!) ~ ENJOY the TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE! Moxie xoxo
