How to Access & Change Your Netflix Settings

Want to change something in your Netflix account settings but not sure how? Watch this video to learn how to adjust your Netflix settings! #netflixtutorial #netflix #netflixsettings To access your Netflix account settings, open your preferred web browser and go to Netflix.com. While many people use devices like smart TVs, game consoles and smartphones to watch Netflix, the website tends to have the easiest access to settings for your account. Now log into your account if you aren’t already signed in. Select the profile of the owner of your account. Then hover your cursor over your profile icon and select Account. Here you can access your account information and settings. In the membership and billing section, you can change the email address on your account, change your password, and phone number. You can also manage your payment information or add a backup payment method just in case, or change the day you want to be billed for your Netflix subscription. If you’ve received a Netflix gift card, you can redeem a gift card or promo code here as well. If you’d like to switch the Netflix subscription plan you’ve chosen to either upgrade or downgrade, click Change Plan. Then you can select the plan you’d like to switch to. If you’d like to share your Netflix subscription with someone who lives outside of your household, you can buy an extra member slot. This option is less expensive than having two separate subscriptions, and still allows the other user to have their own account and password to log in. For security and privacy, you can view a list of devices that are logged into your account by clicking Manage Access and Devices. If you’re worried someone may have accessed your Netflix account without your permission, you can sign out of all devices at once. Under Profile & Parental Controls, you can adjust settings for the individual profiles on your account, including language, viewing restrictions, activity, and ratings. You can also edit the appearance of subtitles for an individual profile, which will not affect the appearance of subtitles for other profiles on your account.
